Little reminder about libllkdu.dylib (jpeg2000 library, which improving rendering speed, but closed source):

After installing it, gonna copy libllkdu.dylib from released by LL, original viewer 1.21.6 and 1.19.0.5. Open the content of the application and browse for Contents/Resources/libllkdu.dylib , copy libllkdu.dylib to the same location inside Cool SL Viewer application.

Nicholaz Edition's, first build, finally. (Updated)

Bit later then expected, but i managed to build EC-h (1.19.1.4) and BE-x (1.18.5.3) finally.
Viewer patches from Nicholaz "The Mad Patcher" Beresford and Balp Allen (thank you, Balp for helping with BE-x!!!).

Both viewers universal binary and compiled with 10.3 (Panther) support in ppc part.

separate files for BE-x and EC-h can be copied over old ones in Resources/app_settings inside installed applications.

Nicholaz "the mad patcher" Beresford just made update for his viewers, gonna build them for mac, i think. Sadly, dont have much time now, will try to make it at weekend, hopefully.

1.20.17 and 1.21.5 rebuild

Only one minor change, which could help with old viewer freezing problem on Mac. Dances around getCurrentRSS() and VWR-1715
I said "could" because on my hardware it dosent help much with freezes, unfortunately.
Anyhow, rebuilded viewers CV 1.20.17 and CV 1.21.5

Playing around building 1.21rc, still not much happy about freezes and still gonna figure how to tell cmake about building universal binary, develop.py making project for current architecture, which is i386.
And this stupid fmod bugs.

freezes

Here 2 practically same builds of viewer for now, but one with commented //agent["mem_use"] = getCurrentRSS() / 1024.0 in llviewerstats.cpp and one without comment.

i'm not sure freezes happen because of this function, still trying to figure.

Still trying to fight freezes in 1.20, and here one more build seems running better in crowded places, tested on awesome party in blacklist tonight.

I'm lazy blogger, all friends know about It, thought to close this blog just because it never updating, but suddenly i made mac os X port of cool SL viewer, which originally was made for linux by Henri Beauchamp and thought to make it available for all my buddies who running SL on mac os. This port was builded with latest xcode tools, has classic (pre-voice) UI and some stability fixes. So far it running well for me and, i hope, it will run well on more mac's.
For now it uploaded to rapidshare and you guys can get it there.
And one more build for people who liked new UI
