New in this release:
New llTextBox patch: implements full support for the llTextBox() LSL function.
New DeRuthing patch: this is a backport from v2.3 of its de-Ruthing (avatar un-clouding) feature, with an additional bug fix.
New FeatureManagerQuirks patch: fixes a couple of quirks in the graphic card feature manager code.
New ErrorMarkersLogMessages patch: fixes quirks in post-crash session log messages.
New LayersetWithoutCompositeLogSpam patch: prevents lag-generating log spam when encountering layer sets without composite.
Updated DisplayNamesSupport patch: this new version adds display name support for the active speakers panels and for the IM windows title. It also fixes the lack of display name support for the Profile tab of the Silver skin. See this thread for details.
Updated NewScriptFunctions patch: this new version implements display names related functions, and implements the viewer side code for the AGENT_AUTOPILOT flag in llGetAgentInfo() (see this thread for details).
Updated Radar patch: this new version implements display names support.
Updated AvatarKeyInProfile patch: fixes the issue with the avatar key not showing in the Profile floater for the Silver skin.
Updated ItemLinksAndMultipleAttachmentsSupport patch: this new version implements new debug variables (OSAllowMultipleAttachments and OSAllowInventoryLinks, which are set to FALSE by default), so that the multiple attachments and inventory links features can be enabled only on demand for OpenSim grids, since they cause issues with grids not supporting those features (see this message for details).
Updated UnmappedVertexBuffersLogSpam patch: this new version further reduces some lag-generating spam (only one warning message is now logged).
Note: 1.25.x version of viewer will work only on intel based mac.
Also, if you guys look in this folder, there two last universal binary versions 1.19.2 and 1.23.5, please don't ask me for more, i can't support them, i don't have powerpc mac, i have no idea how they working on powerpc mac and i have no time and will to maintain programs for obsolete architecture. Please, don't ask me about powerpc builds again in future, because i will not do them anymore. Thanks for understanding.

Cool VL Viewer 1.25.0 (14) with display names support
downdload here
With this first version (others will follow), the following is implemented/supported:
You can choose how the display names are used: either disabled entirely (only "legacy names" are displayed and new residents appear as " Resident"), or displayed as "Display Name [Legacy Name]", or entirely enabled (only the display names showing). Note that when an avatar doesn't have a display name, only their legacy name is displayed, whatever the setting.
The display names are used (when enabled) for the avatar names bubbles, for the avatar tooltips (including for the tooltips of the dots in the mini-map), in the local chat and in the avatar profiles (note that in the latter, display names are always followed with the [legacy name]: this is on purpose, of course).
You can change and reset your display name from the Display Name floater (open it via the "Edit" -> "Display Name..." menu item).
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW RESIDENTS:: to log in with the Cool VL Viewer (or any v1 of v2.0 to v2.2 viewer), you must put your registration name (user name) in the input box for the "Firstname" and "Resident" in the input box for the "Lastname", on the login screen.

Some viewer related thoughts
Viewer related scene looking strange for me last months, like competition between LL and TPV, which i'm not sure is a right thing, because there should be more partnership and support to platform developer, instead of whining about how bad V2 is.
New viewer generation was a big investment for LL and as platform developer and service provider they trying to make it working well for anyone, thats where 3rd party developers can help, but problem is, there not much of help as it could be and as platform developer expected. Clinging on old and dropped 1.x framework is futureless, development (platform and client) can't be stopped, just because if it stopped it dead.
Get used to 2.x, guys, it is time to do.
