Bit later then expected, but i managed to build EC-h (1.19.1.4) and BE-x (1.18.5.3) finally.
Viewer patches from Nicholaz "The Mad Patcher" Beresford and Balp Allen (thank you, Balp for helping with BE-x!!!).
Both viewers universal binary and compiled with 10.3 (Panther) support in ppc part.

UPDATE: Builds updated with new app_settings/message_template.msg (required for security fix)
separate files for BE-x and EC-h can be copied over old ones in Resources/app_settings inside installed applications.

Downloading BE now to test it out!
it runs pretty well, even on 10.4 tiger and on ppc, but i dont have panther to try.
It works so far on 10.3 on my G4. Voice refuses to enable for some reason, but it just gives me an excuse not to use it.
Are there special install instructions though? I just dragged 1.18.5.3 into applications to replace the sl build that was there then your build to replace the ll one.

actually, i think, you can copy voice stuff from official 1.18.5.3; its in Contents/Resources folder inside Second Life app. Personally i dont use it, tho, so havent tested.
