So what about those of us who're on Tiger but have low-end video chipsets that can't run a windlight-based RLV viewer without lagging to death?
what low end video chipset you have? and which mac?
Late 2006 intel Mac Mini. Maxed-out memory, too. Came with Tiger. I think its supposed to have some kind of craptacular on-processor Intel video hardware, unlike the modern ones that went back to nVidia chips.
I'm still running an old 1.18.5 build I pulled down from a link on Nicholaz's site a long time ago. Still runs. No adult support even though I'm verified but I don't care. It runs.
Hyang, I use your build on my big machine. 1.18.5 on my old laptop. I fully support your decision to drop 1.19 and to add or drop whatever you feel like developing or not developing in your free time.
I had just noticed the notecard thing today, and a fix already. You rock!!
If your video card sucks, crank down the display detail. You'll live. ;o)
Its already as far down as it'll go, from what I can tell. The windlight viewer seems to have no real options to reduce quality below the default, or I haven't found them.
Many thanks again for making this available! :)
Check the Mac Support forum for SL. Turning off windlight happens when you set graphics to Low.

I like your radar popup the best of all. Long, Lat, Alt are MUCH more useful than avatar age and viewer type. Radar implies location. ;)
I've spent the last week trying different viewers: SnowglobeFE, Emerald, Kirsten S18. Kirsten's is great, but I like the old UI. Emerald has a lot of neat "stuff", but the UI is um... not fun, and it's not stable. CoolSL (yours) is by far the most stable and easy to use. It has become my viewer of choice.
Thank you for your efforts, and I hope you continue to add features to it
Marcus
